South Texas Health System Behavioral helps people cope with behavioral health conditions and addictive disorders.

South Texas Health System Behavioral offers four distinct inpatient treatment programs:

  • Kid’s Early Discovery Treatment Program (ages 3–12)
  • Teen Discovery Treatment Program (ages 13–17)
  • Better Living Treatment Program (ages 18 and over)
  • Care Plus Treatment Program (ages 55 and over)

Treatment teams develop a plan tailored to the individual’s needs. Team members include:

  • Psychiatrists
  • Physicians
  • Nurses
  • Therapists
  • Other behavioral health professionals
