Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at South Texas Health System Behavioral

Not everyone requiring mental health services needs an inpatient setting. South Texas Health System Behavioral offers outpatient services to adults 18 and over who have been experiencing ongoing symptoms of depression, anxiety or other emotional problems that significantly impact their ability to carry out their usual day to day activities. Our Intensive Outpatient Program includes group therapy sessions.

Group topics may include:

  • Coping with Depression and Anxiety
  • Stress and Anger Management
  • Communication Skills
  • Socialization Skills
  • Relaxation Skills

The program is conducted while the patient continues to work and live at home. Treatment is scheduled from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Lunch is provided.

Placement is determined through a free assessment, which reveals the individual needs of each client.

To schedule a free assessment, call us at 956-388-1300 or contact us online.
